How do I put an item on hold?
When viewing the desired title in the online catalog, click on “Request” (upper left hand corner). You will be prompted to enter your name, library card number, and PIN number. At the next screen, you will need to choose whether you want to pick the item up at the Main Library or the Penacook Branch Library. If you have an email address on file with us, you will receive an email once the item has been retrieved and placed on the holdshelf. Items are held for up to 5 days, and are then re-shelved. *Please note, in order to place a hold, you must have a current library card, and your fines cannot exceed $10.
