Main Street Project Receives Award
The Main Street Complete Streets Project has received a "Gold Level Award" by the American Council of Engineering Companies of NH (ACEC-NH). The project is also in the running for the 2017 Overall Winner of the ACEC-NH Engineering Excellence Awards.

Concord has been ranked as 2017's 7th Best U.S. State Capital in which to live, in a recent study conducted by WalletHub.com!

To identify the most livable seats of state government, WalletHub's data team compared all 50 states across 42 key metrics, ranging from "cost of living" to "K-12 school system quality" to "number of attractions."

Concord was ranked as follows, with 1=Best, 25=Average:
  • 5th in Median Household Income (adjusted for cost of living);
  • 1st in Unemployment Rate;
  • 5th in Percent of Population Below Poverty Level; and
  • 6th in Health Conditions.
