Teen Summer Reading
This Year's Theme: Unmask!
Registration starts June 22nd
Heroes

How do I sign-up?

Visit the Service Desk on the main floor of the library. When you register, you will be given a score card for events that you attend, books that you read and books that you review this summer.  There are also special assignments that you can complete for extra tickets!

Who can participate?
Any teen between the ages of 13 and 18 (or will be by the time the program ends on August 13th) can participate. To be eligible for the grand prize of a Chromebook, you must have an active CPL library card and less than $10 in fines, and must earn a minimum of 15 points during the reading program. If you are a Concord or Penacook resident, you can sign up for a card or update the one you already have at any point during the program.

Teens who are not Concord or Penacook residents can participate in the reading program and will be eligible for the other prizes available (see below).

What are the prizes?
The 2015 grand prize is a Chromebook laptop.  Other prizes include exclusive tote bags loaded with bookish prizes (valued at $75 each), $50 gift cards to Gibson's Bookstore and Downtown Dollars, and $25 gift cards to Amazon, Arnie's Place, Granite State Candy, and True Brew.  All participants are eligible for the other prizes, but only Concord and Penacook residents who have active CPL cards with less than $10 in fines and at least 15 points will be eligible for the grand prize.

How do I win prizes?

You will earn one raffle ticket for each book you complete on your score card, and you can complete extra activities for extra points.  Keep your raffle tickets: you'll turn them in at our Summer Reading Wrap Party on August 13th to win prizes!
