Royal Leak Detection
We're celebrating EPA WaterSense's Fix A Leak Week by holding a Royal Leak Detection! Concord residents and merchants can enter to win a new WaterSense labeled toilet by sharing a picture with us of their leak detection efforts (reading their water meter, food coloring test, or fixture tightening/replacing). Photos can be shared to our Facebook or Twitter page (#IFixLeaks), sent to our email, delivered to our office (311 North State Street, Concord, NH), or mailed to us in care of "Royal Leak Detection." If you find a leak, tell us! If not, you're still entered for a chance to win along with your photo submission. Entries must be received by March 20, 2015. Everyone who participates wins by helping to save water! Fixing leaks can also help to potentially save money off your water bill! One winner will be selected to receive a WaterSense labeled toilet that uses less than approximately 5 gallons of water per flush than a typical, older toilet. View official contest rules before applying.

Street Maintenance
Road maintenance and repair are significant responsibilities of the Highways and Utilities Division of General Services, including potholes, existing signs, sidewalks, drainage collection, water distribution lines, sewer collection, winter operations, plow damage, dead animal removal, fall leaf collection, and the Sustainable Tree Program.

Street lights are maintained by Unitil. Call (603) 224-2311 or (800) 852-3339 to report an issue. They will need to know the location of the pole you are reporting and, if possible, the pole number. The pole number can be found as the metal numbers facing the street that are displayed about six feet off of the ground.

Trash & Recycling
The City of Concord currently contracts with Casella for all trash and recycling services. Visit the trash and recycling page for more information on our pay-as-you-throw program, single-stream recycling, household hazardous waste disposal, solid waste management, trash holidays, and for the route map

Water
Our Water Treatment Plant operates to deliver superior drinking water from Penacook Lake. The utility billing division generates and distributes invoices to the users of the city's water and sewer lines. The water and sewer utilities are fully supported through user charges.

Wastewater Treatment & Sewer Collection
Our Wastewater Treatment Division and Highway and Utilities Division provide services for the collection and treatment of wastewater for Concord and portions of Bow and Boscawen.

Arena
The city's ice arena is the Douglas N. Everett Arena located at 15 Loudon Road in Concord. The Everett Arena is the home of Concord Youth Hockey, Concord High Boy's and Girl's Hockey, Bishop Brady Boy's and Girl's Hockey, and Bow High School Boy's Hockey. It is also open for public skate during scheduled times.
