The Everett Arena offers ice skating from mid-September through mid- March. 2015-2015 Winter Skating will end on March 18, 2015. During the ice skating season the arena offers public skating, stick practice, skating lessons for beginners, learn to play hockey, travel youth hockey, and high school hockey.

Public Skating

Public Skating is Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m starting September 22, 2014 until March 18, 2015. and Sunday afternoons from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.. Admission is $5 and skate rentals are available in the pro shop for $5. Public skating will end March 18, 2015, with 3/8 being the last open Sunday and 3/14 being the last open Saturday.

Adult Stick Practice
Adult Stick Practice for ages 14 and up is Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Admission is $10, and helmet and gloves are required. Full equipment is recommended. Through November 26, 2014, stick practice is also offered in the afternoons, Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. The last stick practice will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015.

Youth Stick Practice

Youth stick practice for ages 13 and below is offered through November 21, 2014 up to the week before Thanksgiving on Friday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Admission is $7 and full equipment is required.

Skating Lessons

Skating Lessons are offered through Concord Parks & Recreation. There are two sessions (Session 1: 11/1/14-12/13/14; Session 2: 1/3/15-2/7/15) that typically begin the first Saturday in November and the first Saturday in January. All classes have limited registration. Registration cannot be done at the Everett Arena. Registration must be done with Parks and Recreation by mail, fax, online, or in person.

Children 6 and under are required to wear helmets. Participants must use single blade skates only (no double runner skates) and come with mittens/gloves. Lessons are held at the Everett Arena for ages 4 and up. The cost is $79 for residents and $89 for non-residents.

Skill Levels
Basic Beginner - Those who have never skated and cannot stand up alone.
Beginner - Those who can stand up and skate forward.
Intermediate - Those who had lessons, can skate forward, backward, and cross cut.
